I'm Reunilu! Pronounced "Rei-yoo-nee-loo", like the Pokemon Reuniclus but without the consanants. Can be Nagi or Shaymin depending on who you talk to, but I like to refer to myself as Reun. I'm a part of the Filipino diaspora, more specifically I was born in the Philippines but have only lived in the United States shortly after I was born. Can't speak Tagalog, though. I have a condition known as primary hyperhidrosis, which means that I sweat through my hands and feet whenever, regardless of stress or temperature (though the severity can be heightened from the two). I have had this condition since I was born and affects my work in a multitude of ways, mostly that it forces me to pause work frequently.

I've been an illustrator since 2016. I primarily use Photoshop to sketch, however I will often swap between Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint. Between drawing, I play a lot of Final Fantasy XIV, watch K-dramas, listen to Girls' Generation/SNSD as well as other kpop, and play mobages like Arknights. I also pay attention to a lot of politics. My dream is to be a popular artist and make it into my full time job.

Between 2012 and 2017, I considered myself a GFX artist, or the kind of person that manipulates predrawn images and makes them into forum signatures and whatnot. This is primarily the reason why I prefer using Photoshop to Clip Studio Paint. Since this is a old art form that has been dying out for some time due to the fact that it has been tied to message boards, one of my goals is to be able to integrate it in my drawings.

Questions

How long have you been drawing?

Since July 2016.

What tablet do you use?

I use a Huion HS610. This is my second tablet I've owned.

What programs do you use?

I use 90% Photoshop, 10% Clip Studio Paint. Depending on what the art is for, these percentages can go up or down with most occasions being 100% Photoshop, but I do have specific uses for Clip Studio Paint.

Can I upload/repost your art anywhere?

Unfortunately, because of the advent of AI art generators, I do not allow reposting my art anywhere. Full stop. Illustrators like myself have to defend against things like danbooru being used for AI art generators and those people ruin it for everyone. Which is a shame, because I genuinely LIKE danbooru and similar sites and would actually allow my work being reposted on those sites if it weren't for people trying to commit art theft!

Uploading my art to AI art generation services is not allowed.

Can I tokenize your art?

NO.
